Secesh Escape is located about 30 Miles North of McCall, Idaho. 

From McCall, Idaho take Warren Wagon Road (located across the street from Lardo’s Restaurant) North to Warren, Idaho. Drive towards the North end of Payette Lake and follow the road to Warren, Idaho. You will pass the upper Payette Lake and Secesh Summit. After descending down the summit, you will come to the Burgdorf Junction.  Do not turn left towards Burgdorf but continue on the dirt road towards Warren, Idaho. Once you hit the dirt road at the Burgdorf Junction, you are about 4 1/2 miles from the cabin. As you continue down the dirt road, you’ll eventually cross the Secesh River; at this point you will enter Secesh Meadows. At the top of the small hill you will see a Pay Phone on the left hand side of the road and a sign that say’s “Cemetery Hill”. At this point you are about 1/2 mile away from the Cabin. (Continue down the hill)  Secesh Escape is located on the left hand side of the road.  You will see a black mailbox with 24697 on it and a sign in the tree that says “Secesh Escape”. Turn down that drive way and the cabin is about 300 feet off the road. Welcome to Secesh Escape, relax and enjoy your stay!   

NOTE: During the winter months Secesh Escape is Snowmobile access only.  You will be able to drive to Francis Wallace Parking Lot (see map above) and from there you must snowmobile the rest of the way.  The road is groomed all the way to Secesh Escape and is usually a very easy ride that even beginning snowmobilers would be comfortable with.  Contact us about specific information and details on snowmobiling into the cabin.
